1. About ITLS
These terms apply to your use of itls.ne.ke and our membership plans. ITLS is operated by Interactive Testing and Learning Solutions in Kenya. By creating an account, paying for a plan or using the site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. What ITLS is and is not
- ITLS is an independent platform. We are not owned, approved, accredited or endorsed by KICD, the Ministry of Education, KNEC or any school.
- ITLS does not replace formal schooling. It is extra practice and revision support to use alongside school and teachers.
- ITLS does not replace KICD-approved books. Our digital books, notes and exams are revision aids. Learners should keep using the textbooks and materials their school requires.
- Our exams and quizzes are practice material. They are not official examination papers.
- We do not promise any particular grade, mark or examination result.
3. Accounts
You must give accurate details and keep your password private. One account is for one learner and must not be shared. Learners under 18 should use ITLS with the approval of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
4. Membership plans and payment
- ITLS sells digital membership access only. Nothing is delivered in the post.
- Plans run for a day, a week, a month or a year. The price, length of access and renewal terms are shown at checkout before you pay. Prices are in Kenya shillings (KES) and may change for future purchases. A change never affects a period you have already paid for.
- Payment is made at checkout through the methods shown there, which may include M-Pesa (through Pesapal) and PayPal.
- Where automatic renewal is not available for your payment method, you may receive a reminder, and access ends when the paid period ends unless you renew.
- Membership gives you access to the courses, quizzes, revision exams and books included in your plan. Content may be added, updated or retired over time.
5. Refund Policy
Membership is digital and your access starts as soon as your payment is confirmed, so we do not refund access you have already used. We will refund you, or give you the access you paid for, in these cases:
- you were charged twice for the same plan, or charged by mistake;
- your payment went through but your access was not activated and we could not fix it within 3 working days of your report;
- a fault on our side stopped you from using the plan and we could not put it right; or
- the law requires a refund.
How to ask: email admin@itls.ne.ke within 7 days of the payment with your name, the email on your account and your payment reference (for example the M-Pesa or PayPal reference). We will reply within 5 working days and tell you what we decided and why. Approved refunds go back to the payment method you used. They may take a few more days to reach you, depending on the payment provider. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Kenyan consumer law.
6. Responsible use of technology
We want ITLS to be a safe and healthy place to learn. When you use it, please:
- use it for learning, and be honest in your work. Practising on ITLS is encouraged, but do not use ITLS content to cheat in school tests or official examinations;
- keep your password private and do not share your account or let others use your paid access;
- be respectful. Do not post, send or upload anything unlawful, abusive, hateful or harmful;
- do not copy, sell, record or share our content, and do not use bots, scrapers or other tools to collect it;
- do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or other people’s accounts;
- take regular breaks, balance screen time with rest, play and school, and get help from a trusted adult if something online worries you; and
- if you are a parent or guardian, supervise younger learners and talk with them about staying safe online.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. If we do, we will tell you why.
7. Our content and your use of it
ITLS owns, or has permission to use, the content on the platform. Your membership gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use it for your own learning. We respect the rights of others. If you think something on ITLS infringes your rights, email admin@itls.ne.ke.
8. Your right to information
You have the right to clear and accurate information about what you are buying and how we use your data. You can ask us at any time for the details of your plan, your payments and the personal data we hold about you. See our Privacy Policy for your data rights and how to use them.
9. Availability
We work to keep ITLS available, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance or changes and will try to keep any disruption short.
10. Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, ITLS is not responsible for losses that come from relying on our practice material as a substitute for school teaching, for examination results, or for events outside our control. Nothing in these terms removes any right you have under Kenyan law that cannot be limited.
11. Ending your membership
You can stop using ITLS or choose not to renew at any time. Access to a paid plan ends when its period ends. You can ask us to close your account and delete your data as explained in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters to members, we will tell them where we can. Using ITLS after a change means you accept it.
13. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Questions about these terms or a refund request: admin@itls.ne.ke.
